Horrors of War

This is a way overdue announcement. Some of the delay has been due to personal and family issues, but the last few days have been about working out an agreement with Chaosium to produce Horrors of War: A Covenant with Death as a licensed Call of Cthulhu product. Chaosium has granted us plenty of extensions, but there has to be a limit. Although I could rewrite everything to use Arc Dream's Delta Green system, I would prefer to stick with Call of Cthulhu. After all, the whole point of this project was to create a contextual reason for why such a diverse group of people would come together to face a supernatural threat. The answer I hope these scenarios would provide is that they are "war buddies" who have already encountered elements of the Cthulhu Mythos while the were serving in the Great War, thousands of miles from home. This would provide the perfect springboard into games in the 1920s, the default "Classic Era" of the Call of Cthulhu game.
