Expedition Lemont (1946)
Since Lemont’s last expedition at the turn of the 20th Century, men of dubious ambitions, lured by the possibility of fame and riches, have attempted to retrace the footsteps of the priest rumored to have gone looking for Yian-Ho, a mystical city of gold.
Deputy High Commissioner Henry de Constance, who came in contact with the priest research into the mythos, convinced his superiors of the need to undertake another expedition to the Southern Wetlands. According to him, a new expedition would be a “splendid anthropological undertaking.”
Expedition Lemont is meant to be played as a campaign. It is composed of four separate modules that will take the investigators from Saigon to the Holy See in Tay Ninh and beyond.
