Other forces covet the book, however, and the investigators find themselves in grave danger as the simple collection job becomes something far more sinister. Are their lives and sanity worth the price of completing the task? Will they betray the woman who hired them or stay loyal throughout the sinister events?

This Modern Era, 7th edition Call of Cthulhu scenario takes place in Boston. The investigation can be completed with no combat, making it suitable for a single player, although up to four could play without adjusting the scenario’s difficulty. It can be completed in a single session.
