Today, I’m very glad to announce a very important project to me, which I’ve been working on since several years: I’m going to publish an illustrated version of “The call of Cthulhu” by H.P. LOVECRAFT !
In times to come, I’ll give more details about the exact contents, but I can already reveal that book will propose about sixty pages of illustrations together with HPL’s original text. The book itself will be conceived with such care as to make it as elegant as possible.
It’ll be released first in the French version in October 2017 at Bragelonne publishing and later on in other countries, in various languages (negotiations are being done at the moment).
This project was born in my mind from noticing that there was apparently no illustrated version of HPL’s works, at least accompanied by the exact text. Thus, I decided to produce one myself, in which I would strive to give the most impressive, the most epic vision of the story.
If this book happens to find a proper audience and some success, my intention is to go on adapting HPL stories (for instance, the next on could be “At the mountains of madness”…).
Soon, I’m going to create a Fanpage dedicated to this project, on which I will post all the news, and of course some pictures and work-in-progress.
