Randolph Carter has been sentenced to death, accused of the murder of his associate, Harley Warren. However, Randolph's account of the incident paints quite a different picture. As he tells it, after many a sleepless night studying arcane horrors, Randolph and Harley trek into the night, intent on satiating their curiosities. Based on the short story by H.P. Lovecraft.
